This map presents the major 14 bioregions of Russia, as classified by the World Wildlife Fund (from WWF's 1993 report Conserving Russia's Biodiversity).

Russia has 101 zapovedniks (strictly protected areas) and 38 national parks (protected areas with implemented zoning) as of July 2012. This map shows locations and boundaries of most of these 139 protected areas. Click on the map to see bioregions and the protected areas.
